Television personality Carly Aplin and her fiancé Jason Zucker (of MN Wild fame) are a Minnesota power couple, to say the least. Carly has been a friend of Minnesota Bride for quite some time as our fabulous "Best Of" award ceremony emcee for two years running. Jason, originally from California, has embraced his new home as an integral player of Minnesota's beloved hockey team. Together, the two make a ridiculously attractive pair, and we couldn't have been more excited to hear of their engagement! We are thrilled to be sharing their steamy at-home engagement-meets-boudoir photo shoot, which strikes a perfect balance between sweet and sexy.
Jason popped the question in Newport Beach during a final summer vacation before heading back to MN for the frozen winter months. He asked Carly to marry him during a scenic boat ride on Balboa Bay. After she happily accepted the pair continued on to The Resort at Pelican Hill where they spent the entire weekend celebrating! If that wasn't perfect enough, the two plan to marry at the very same spot where they celebrated their engagement, and are currently planning their special event with the help of some oh-so-talented MN vendors, including Paper Rock Scissor, Bridal Accents Couture and Dave Puente.
If the dreamy engagement photos below are any indication, Carly and Jason's intimate destination wedding (with plenty of Minnesota flavor) is going to be a beautiful affair full of unique details and lots of personality. The bride's favorite part of their west coast wedding thus far? "We've already booked our In-N-Out Burger truck for late night snacks! That was my first duty as a bride-to-be."
