Minnesota Bride Fall/Winter 2022

A fall wedding featuring an abundance of striking florals, glowing chandeliers, and exposed brick? Yes, please! Jackie Rose Frane and Shane Bodle’s boho wedding dream became reality when the couple tied the knot at Aria in downtown Minneapolis. Shane proposed on Easter in 2019, presenting Jackie with a plastic egg with an engagement ring inside. “It was an awesome moment I’ll never forget,” Jackie says. After planning and replanning around the pandemic, the two were ecstatic to finally say “I do.”  Jackie’s son, Maxwell, stood with Shane and his sister Isla, Jackie and Shane’s daughter. “For some we may have done it backwards, having our children in our wedding, but it was so special for us,” Jackie said. The bridal party wore shades of maroon, blush and mauve, apt for the autumn date. The bride wanted to showcase her style without overdoing a “feminine” feel, so they opted for fur throws, cowhide rugs, and a marquee “Bar” sign. Jackie also surprised Shane with his favorite —  an Uncle Franky’s hot dog cart. Chandeliers adorned with lush sprays of greenery added an ethereal feel to the industrial space. “Everything was perfect,” the newlyweds agree.
