Modehaus Bridal by Chelsea Lovett Collection Debut

Wedding Dresses

On Saturday, April 2, MODEHAUS will open the doors of its Saint Paul studio to present a debut collection of custom bridal gowns. Proprietor Chelsea Lovett began creating original dresses for Minnesota brides in the guest bedroom of her home just two years ago. Now, her first full collection will be comprised of bold looks with feminine silhouettes, and will feature full skirts, big splashes of color, and flattering necklines.

Lovett began her own journey down the aisle as a bride tirelessly combing through boutiques and department stores alike. Unable to find exactly what she wanted for her own wedding day, she was compelled to design and sew her own dress. Now, she collaborates with other brides to bring to life original styles that reflect their personalities.

From start to finish, it’s all made in Saint Paul, Minnesota. A MODEHAUS dress is not only a style choice, but a choice to support local business and the arts. In addition to gowns, the show will highlight the work of other local makers: floral styling by Munster Rose, beer from neighboring Lake Monster Brewing, and jewelry by Britta Kauppila. Hair styling is by SM Makeup Inc. and makeup by Blush Beauty Room.

The show is open to the public, but space is limited and RSVP is required. Visit www.modehausrunway.com to register.
