Mintahoe at Solar Arts Building welcomed the Minnesota wedding community to celebrate Minnesota Bride’s 30th Anniversary and the Spring / Summer ’23 Issue Release. The historic building was complete with burning candles tables, greenery and ambient lighting, adhering to the dark academia theme designed and planned by Jocelyn Bulger of Availed Events. “We wanted the night to feel like an intimate, warm event with your closest friends in the industry,” said Lexie Cummings, owner of Availed Events. “We really achieved that through the candlelit tables, overhead lighting and warm tones throughout the space.” Paint My Wedding captured the essence of the night perfectly, with guests sipping on wine from Cannon River Winery, enjoying music from The Gemzine and savoring bites from the Mintahoe’s grazing table. The five-course meal from Mintahoe Catering & Events was the highlight of the evening with a decadent menu featuring a crostini trio, tomato basil soup, rustic pear salad, butternut squash ravioli, beef short ribs and, of course, a series of delicious desserts. Before the night was over, vendors created memories at Time Into Pixel’s 360-photo booth and connected with other wedding professionals. The event was truly a celebration of all the hard work Minnesota’s wedding community does and a toast to the upcoming projects in the new year. “We absolutely love how inclusive and inviting the Minnesota wedding community is and felt like this event was such a reflection of that,” Lexie said. “We've always felt like other partners (and even competitors) cheer us and others on, we really have the mentality that when one of us wins, we all win.”
