Self-proclaimed “suckers for romance” Elijah Fhima and Daphne Jalteco made their wedding day an Art Deco dream at Elijah’s elegant family restaurant, Fhima’s. Dripping with gold accents, the couple wanted to highlight le style moderne of their venue with a combination of white roses, lush greenery and peonies, all warmed by the soft glow of candlelight fostering a timeless ambience. A blend of Mexican and Moroccan traditions, the bride and groom honored the blending of their families and cultures with a delectable family-style feast. The air was rich with music from start to finish with a vibrant Mariachi band playing during cocktail hour, a Cuban saxophonist who wowed the guests with culturally significant serenades to the bride and groom, and a DJ who kept the party going until the early hours of the morning. Daphne and Elijah were delighted with their wedding day and the exceptional execution of their combined personal styles. The evening was intricately laced with intentional touches, from personalized cocktails to each song played. The couple was infinitely grateful for their carefree wedding day thanks to the help of their incredible vendors. Their advice? “Trust others to handle the details and remember that celebrating your love for each other is what matters most.”
