Wedding Date: September 15, 2017
A lesson in not relying on timing to choose your fate. Mackenzie and David never truly connected at Marquette University, despite meeting early in their careers. All seemed lost until they were brought back to each other in Denver years later. The timing matched up. David proposed in a garden in London, which Mackenzie did not see coming, not even as he was getting down on one knee. They dreamed of a small lakeside gathering to exchange their vows, to which the Minikahda Club on Bde Maka Ska fit to a T. They did not change much to Minikahda’s already elegant design, but instead added simple personalized enhancements such as cascading greenery for the altar arch and mercury glass to adorn the reception tables. The wedding party navy and gray complimented the mint and glow of the ballroom. A dessert table as far as the eye could see was just the icing on a truly spectacular evening.
