Designed as an elevated summer soirée, this styled shoot at The Hutton House showcases how a lush outdoor ceremony can transition seamlessly into a refined indoor dining experience. Set against the venue’s manicured grounds and bright, modern architecture, the day marries softness and structure, designing a dreamy oasis.
The ceremony unfolds outdoors, where guests would be guided down a crisp white aisle flanked by garden-style floral arrangements. A floral-forward backdrop frames the moment without overwhelming the setting, while café lights overhead add warmth and intimacy.
Floral design plays a central role in shaping the shoot’s vision. As floral designer Kelsey Brison of KMackenzie Designs shares, “I loved designing at The Hutton House, focusing on effortless elegance and garden beauty.” That approach comes to life through a curated palette — “I chose mustards, soft creams and apricot cosmos for a warm, romantic feel.” Roses, peonies and seasonal blooms are layered throughout the design, creating arrangements that feel organic yet refined. “The arrangements brought nature’s grace, blending sophistication with summer’s vibrant energy,” Brison adds.
Inside, the celebration transitions into a thoughtfully styled dining experience emphasizing flow and visual balance. Photographer Jessica St. George of Everworth Photo describes the room as “a spacious, light-filled area featuring an elegant blend of round tables and a long rectangular harvest table, creating a harmonious flow for dining.” Floral-patterned linens soften the round tables, which she notes “surround the harvest table as if they are the backdrop for the star of the show.”
Natural wood finishes, rattan-back chairs and fine china add warmth, while lush centerpieces and modern chandeliers bring polish to the polished concrete floors. From the sculptural cake display to the floral-adorned bar, each detail exudes an organic sensibility.
