What types of bridal wear do you offer (gowns, formalwear, flower girl dresses, accessories, etc)?

We carry all of the wedding dresses (and occasionally a pantsuit or two) and accessories a bride could ever want! Our dress collection is extensive focusing on supporting a range of emerging designers and covers a variety of styles from simple and elegant, romantic, bohemian, urban chic, modern and more. To complement the gowns, we also carry an accessories collection that includes: traditional veils, vintage inspired headpieces, boho crowns and vines, jewelry, sashes, and lace tops.

a&bé bridal shop carries a range of designers including: Sarah Seven, Anna Campbell, Katie May, Hayley Paige, Anna Maier, Sareh Nouri, Rue De Seine, Nicole Miller, Rebecca Schoneveld, Truvelle, and More!!

What is your philosophy towards working with brides?

Our philosophy is to be the source of stylish, unique wedding gowns without the fuss. Brides come to a&be to receive an amazing experience where stylists truly listen to the brides and help them find the coolest wedding dresses. a&bé is a bridal shop that supports the creative surge that is happening in weddings. We support the up&coming, & the indie, & the romantic. Our gowns and experience is accessible. We focus on keeping the majority of the collection between one and three thousand. And while there are a few dresses or designers above that range, we are happy to go into all of the details on what makes that particular gown cost a bit more. Because trust us, we brought that dress to brides because it knocks our socks off!

What type of wedding accessories do you carry?

We carry a huge assortment of accessories because we understand that accessories truly complete the look. We're proud to bring Sara Gabriel, Untamed Petals, and Hushed Commotion to Minnesota. These accessories are everything from veils, headpieces, hairwraps. beaded sashes, vintage inspired jewelry, statement necklaces, and modern accessories. Most of our accessories are all made to order, so brides should plan on shopping for their accessories at least three months before their wedding date to get the best selection.

Do you require an appointment to try on dresses?

We ask for appointments for every day except Thursday. Every Thursday we stay open a little bit later (until 8pm) and we happily invite you to come pop by and visit with us, no appointment needed. On Thursdays you can just stop by to see what we carry, you can choose to just browse or you can work with a stylist and try on as many dresses as you please! If you do make an appointment with us, it will be for 90 minutes and it will be a one-on-one appointment with one of our expert, friendly stylists who is there to help you navigate the shopping process, make it fun, and be your guide to finding your wedding dress.

Are on-site alterations available?

We do not provide alterations on-site. Instead, we provide recommendations for alterations and ultimately let the bride choose the service that best suits her needs. Do you offer gown preservation? Nope.

How long does it typically take from the time you order a dress to the time it arrives?
 On average, a wedding dress takes 3-5 months from the time that you order until it arrives. However, we have LOTS of dresses and styles that can be delivered much quicker without a rush fee. We also do carry some dresses that may take as long as 6-7 months to arrive from the time of ordering. Our stylists work with you to figure out when it's the right time to order your dress. In general, for the most options and for your own peace of mind, we would recommend shopping at least 7-9 months out from when you want your dress to arrive.

Will you store my gown until the week before the wedding? Will it be pressed when I pick it up?
 
We do not store gowns. Many gowns do not require a full pressing, but if this is something that you need, we would recommend coordinating this service with your seamstress after your alterations are completed.
