This utterly entrancing concept shoot by Lens and Luma reminds me of Alice all grown up and getting married in Wonderland. The draped and gathered gown is unbelievably romantic. I especially love the poppy-like flower detailing. The picnic table laden with treats from Café Latté evokes a tea party that would make the Mad Hatter proud. Sharply editorial, yet softly ethereal, there is a mysterious atmosphere that pulls the viewer in.

The Lyndal Park Gardens offer the perfect backdrop for a whimsical shoot like this one. The perfect venue for engagement or wedding photos, the Gardens offer a range of open spaces, including a lake, fountain, and an endless field of wildflowers. What bride and groom wouldn't want to choose from one of these locations, let alone have all three at their disposal? The soft blush and minty green color palette would fit any spring or summer ceremony beautifully. Chocolate covered strawberries, frothy floral arrangments, and feather headpieces will have me dreaming of this shoot for days.

From the Photographer:

A lush and classic styled shoot on a warm late summer day in Lyndale Park Gardens, Minneapolis. The inspiration for this shoot was a mix of cues from the 1974 film version of the Great Gatsby starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow, and a Bohemian garden tea party. I was really drawn to the location, which has the advantages of being near a dreamy rose garden, a serene lake and other lush surroundings. Shot on a cloudy day, we wanted the photos to be filled with mystery and wonder.
