Emily and Doug's wedding at the Depot Renaissance Hotel in Minneapolis is timeless, fun and oh-so-sophsticated. With classic elements like black and gold accents, this couple kept things fresh by including bouquets of fuchsia peonies with striped ribbon. The bride's Reem Acra dress, crystal encrusted headband and matching belt could not have been more perfect. I love the sweet boudoir-esque shots in the hotel room after the bride was finished getting ready -- a good alternative to scheduling a seperate shoot unless you are looking for a wide array of images.

Even though this event was planned long-distance, every detail fell into place. I love that this couple has such a fun sense of humor, and that it shows through their photos.

From the photographer:

Doug and Emily's wedding took place at the Depot, in Minneapolis (although the couple lives in New York ). Planning the wedding from New York wasn't easy, which is why the couple enlisted the help of Kirsten from Fab Event Design to get everything done. Emily's impeccable style left nothing to be desired and they had a picture perfect wedding day.
