Eclectic, Ultra-Intentional Wedding Day Featuring Tattoo Station and Tacos at Berwood Hill Inn

From the moment Will Tucker laid eyes on server Megan Muckenhirn at Lyons Bar in Minneapolis, he was completely enamored. The pair dated long-distance, and, in a grand gesture while Megan was flying to Seattle to move in with Will, he proposed to her in front of the entire plane on the intercom stating, “Baby girl, whether it’s Minneapolis, whether it’s Seattle, or 34,000 feet in the air, you are my home. I love you to death and I will love you forever.” Given their whirlwind romance, the eclectic couple’s wedding day at Berwood Hill Inn utilized ultra-intentional details to reflect their passionate personalities. The outdoor ceremony was bursting with color, vibrant shades of pink and orange ribbons swaying from trees, while florals in the same hues swathed across the rich greenery of the property. Megan accented her unique puff-sleeved floral gown with chunky statement jewelry while Will crafted a deeply personal ensemble. In lieu of a tie, he wore a red flower, donned mismatching socks—one being an Old Bay sock to represent his youth in Maryland—and commissioned a custom suit printed with flowers that were, completely coincidentally, his late mother’s favorite flowers. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds received matching tattoos of hot sauce bottles (which were also the party favors) and welcomed guests to roast them on an open mic. Loved ones were invited to ring bells from Megan’s late grandmother’s collection to encourage the pair to kiss and listen in on humorous poems written by Will’s Scottish grandfather, all while being offered complimentary tattoos and food truck tacos.
