Love of travel and family were the inspiration behind Andrea Beauchamp and Steven Wilson’s fairytale wedding at the American Swedish Institute, where the overriding goal was to have a weekend “filled with so much love” of family and friends. The couple, who met at Apple Valley High School but didn’t start dating until their junior year of college, wanted to create the feeling of a European garden like those Andy visited during her travels. Elements like the arched welcome sign and seating chart captured the aesthetic of their historic venue, while a floral arch at the head of the aisle added a further touch of elegance, as did charming bouquets of cosmos, ocean pearls and delphinium throughout the courtyard. Guests dined at long banquet tables as if they were at one big family dinner under the twinkling courtyard lights. The newlyweds sat at a sweetheart table that let them share a private moment as they looked out to see all their favorite people at a romantic candlelit dinner.
