Minnesota Bride Spring/Summer 2021

What a year this has been for all Minnesotans, and especially for our Minnesotan wedding couples. 2020 has thrown some curveballs–some we were able to hit, but others were strikeouts. When it comes to weddings, it is a time full of emotions for the engaged couples, families that are involved, and even for our wedding industry. Throwing a pandemic in the mix is not ideal, and we all must work together to continue to make those wedding dreams come true. This year just took more effort, emotions, and energy to make that happen.

With so many uncertainties, many couples moved their dream wedding to 2021, decided to elope or opted for a more intimate gathering. What I love about this year is that it made couples realize what was most important to them and how they really wanted to celebrate their love story. Some of the small things turned into big things, and the big things turned into small things. 2020 allowed us to look at everything in a different perspective and move forward with new visions for a quintessential wedding day. Newly engaged couples, I encourage you to keep planning, keep booking your vendors, and keep designing the wedding day that you always imagined. Your day will come–and it will be perfect!

For the recently engaged couple, check out our Vendor Directory on MNBride.com and turn to our Essentials Guide in the magazine. Here, you will find a variety of our dedicated, knowledgeable and creative Minnesota Bride members that are ready to assist you with new guidelines while making your wedding dreams come true. And, don’t forget to sign up for our bi-weekly eNewsletter on our website. This is where we share our recently published real weddings, advice, inspiration and so much more. From finding the perfect vendors to sparking trendy ideas, Minnesota Bride is here to help you connect the dots to make your big day a dream come true.
