Sometimes inspiration comes from a glass. “While thinking about what color palette and theme I was going to showcase for this shoot, I happened to be drinking La Marca prosecco. Their branding clearly represents the ‘something blue’ theme, and that’s where my inspiration for this shoot was born.” says Melody Hall, owner and lead planner at Events by Melody. She carried the blue hue and classic, romantic vibe through all of the details, from a rock-candy drink garnish to some seriously sexy stilettos.

Sparkling Personality
Since La Marca prosecco was the motivation behind the shoot, of course it’s what you’ll be sipping. The bubbly gets the festive treatment in a Linen Effects glass, topped with blue rock candy.

Triple Threat
This three-tiered beauty from Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe is simple, modern and tasteful. The greenery ringing each tier brings a splash of color and natural flair.

An Open Invitation
Sarah Glad of A Milestone Paper Co. came up with an invitation suite incorporating the azure hue that’s classic, elegant and romantic. Rosann Konieczny did the calligraphy to complete the look.

Flower Power
A blue silk ribbon ties together a lush bouquet by Pristine Floral that includes dahlias and garden roses.

Clean Plate Club
Featuring gold brushed flatware and a gold beaded glass charger from Linen Effects, this is one glamorous place setting. The blue striped napkin and deckle-edge menu by A Milestone Paper Co. add extra polish.

Kicking It
In what just may be the best-ever “something blue,” may we present these knock-’em-dead bedazzled Badgley Mischka heels? The earrings and blue-tinged bracelet, all from Posh Bridal Couture, are pretty enchanting, too.
