We empower people to feel beautiful in their bodies through custom tailored garments and personalized service.
Beauty by Design provides the service of designing and creating custom, one of a kind gowns for each client. We provide the fabric, pattern, and perfect fit, and create each gown as a commissioned piece of artwork. Another service we provide is repurposing of gowns by altering them and using the fabric to create something new. We also provide alterations on pre-bought wedding dresses and other formal dresses.

Beauty by Design is owned and operated by Minnesota designer and tailor, Deborah Hill. Deborah started designing and sewing at a young age. She knew early on that she wanted to make an impact on the world with her art of making clothing. She also learned the environmental and social impact fashion industry has on the world and wanted to work to change it. Deborah loves the art of dresses the most and understands how every person’s body is different. Through her fine craftsmanship of tailoring dresses, she empowers everybody to feel beautiful in their own bodies. At Beauty by Design, Deborah strives to use sustainable fabrics and methods.
