We had A-Quil as the DJ for our wedding in December at The Blaisdell. He came as a recommendation from a family member and went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. He was professional, organized, and communicative which helped with the planning process. We met for a meeting prior to the wedding to go through details and he listened to everything we asked and more. A-Quil created the perfect romantic atmosphere during the ceremony, an upbeat and fun vibe during cocktail hour, and kept our guests on the dance floor for hours during the reception. The comment we got the most from our guests about our wedding was how amazing he was and we couldn't agree more! We struggled finding the right DJ for our wedding but couldn't be happier with our decision. Thank you for everything A-Quil!

Without getting Nike involved, I don't how to tell you to Just Do It! DJ Aquil was an absolute professional. He met with us before the wedding to get an idea of the music we liked, how we wanted the day to go, any specific songs we wanted, special announcements, just covered everything! Although my wife and I have different tastes in music, he was able to blend both our music tastes to keep the party going! Many of our guests told us how great the DJ was. His process was super easy, we really just told him what music we liked, type of music our guests liked, and he literally took care of the rest. He worked directly with our wedding venue to get his equipment setup, so we didn't have to manage that aspect at all. If you want the music/entertainment part of your day to be perfect and easy, DJ Quil is it!

DJ A-Quil was incredible to work with!! He gave us a great worksheet to fill in with songs we want and don't want to play. On the wedding day in May 2025, he had a perfect set throughout cocktail hour, dinner time, and absolutely crushed it during dance time. He had the dance floor going the whole time! We’d highly recommend Anthony to other couples looking for a wedding DJ! Anthony was incredibly professional and easy to communicate with. He had a professional and non-intrusive presence at our wedding. He followed our genre and song requests perfectly, and our friends were on the dance floor until our wedding ended at midnight! Since our wedding, multiple people have commented on how impressed they were with how long our guests were dancing. He struck a great balance between oldies earlier in the night for our older guests and music from high school and college for our friends later in the night. During the wedding he was super responsive to us asking for slight adjustments in the music as needed. He didn’t just play from a playlist— he definitely elevated the music with his mixing. He has a helpful, reassuring presence, and we knew we could trust him with our reception!

DJ A-Quil (Anthony) is ABSOLUTELY amazing! We could not have imagined any other DJ manning our wedding! Before the wedding he was so personable, responsive, and attentive! He provided a questionnaire to help guide us through all of the info he needed from us and also things we needed to think about that we weren't even considering! He made us feel like family throughout the whole process. We changed plans to having a live quartet for the actual ceremony and DJ A-Quil was SO ACCOMMODATING! We felt horrible because we had already locked him in for the ceremony and were sad to short him the ceremony time, BUT he came in with added abilities that we honestly could not have gone without!!! He mic'd our quartet players, the readers, and our officiant, which had we not had him we would have never even known that those things were not included in the venue! He ALSO was critical in the cueing of the quartet with the processional/recessional/ceremony playing!!!! The quartet required a person that was in charge of cueing and DJ A-Quil stepped into that role without us even asking - he knew our venue and layout and how things worked and everything went absolutely seamless!!!! Even though these asks were not showcasing his DJ abilities he stepped in with joy and ease and absolutely killed it!!! Then when we got to the wedding, HOLY COW - WHAT A SKILLED HUMAN BEING!!! He got everyone on the dance floor - there was not a minute that the dance floor had less than 20 people - 95% of the time it had 40+!!! DJ A-Quil played all of our "must plays" and at all the right times! He had such great demeanor with all of our guests! Our guests raved the night of and the next day (we hosted our guests for a brunch the next day) how amazing the DJ/music selection was and that credit goes all to DJ A-Quil!!!! We would recommend him over and over again!!!

DJ Aquil was hands down the best decision and purchase we made for our wedding. My one fear for my wedding was that I did not have a wedding coordinator, and my husband and I still talk to this day how DJ Aquil was essentially our coordinator, making sure everyone was where they needed to be, doing introductions as need be, and keeping the vibes high!
