Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Candlelit Romance at The B Suite

Dark romance envelops this striking concept at The B Suite, where designer Ayomide Agunbiade, founder and head planner of ÌRÁNTÍ, crafted a wedding vision steeped in mood and modern opulence. Titled “A Love Letter From Us,” the design pulls would-be guests into a world of sweeping candlelight and velvet-rich tones that make every corner feel uniquely, almost cinematically, romantic.

Against the venue’s dramatic staircase and soaring architecture, bride stuns in a sculpted satin gown accented with pearls, while the groom’s crisp ivory jacket sharpens the modern edge. Deep burgundy florals spill across the tablescape and bouquet design, softened by delicate blush blooms and low, flickering flames that cast the entire evening in a seductive glow. As is true for so many enticing designs, the space thrived in its juxtapositions—from cascading strands of pearls draped across the statement cake to the chocolate-hued linens pooling beneath crystal stemware.

Despite its polished aesthetic, the photoshoot was constructed around the idea of collaboration. Many of the creatives involved had never worked together before. “This was inspired by a desire to broaden the visual narrative often seen within the wedding and event industry, particularly in Minnesota,” Agunbiade shares. “I wanted to create something that felt intentional, elevated and reflective of the richness, artistry, and care that exists within our community.” --Megan Simpson Teeter
