High school sweethearts Ashley and Max connected over their love of theater and music. Drawing inspiration from the pink and purple palette that saturates their home, the pair infused their ceremony at Glass House in Minneapolis with bright, fun-loving personality. While whimsical lights glittered overhead, Ashley carried a bouquet featuring fuchsia anthurium flowers down the aisle to an acoustic version of “Dancing Queen.” “Bless the Telephone” by Labi Siffre was played during the ceremony, honoring the years the couple spent separated by distance.
Adorned with delicate pearls, the floral arrangements nodded to the couple’s engagement during a beach vacation. Transitioning from day to night, the bride and her father shared a dance to “I Got a Name” by Jim Croce, a sweet tribute to the last name she intends to keep.
The black-and-white checkered dance floor and abundant pearly accents kept a chic design central to the evening reception. Wicked-inspired candles added a playful touch, while a custom margarita dedicated to the couple’s cat made for a night of warm-hearted celebration in the Glass House’s decadently lit lounge. —Diane Meyer
