Elizabeth Cohen, owner of Minnetonka-based Lovebird Gifts, creates all of the custom packaging and sources her sweet treats from a local bakery. “The bakery has been doing cookies for more than 30 years and they have time-tested recipes,” says Cohen. “It’s special that the cookies are mini because it’s a small indulgence, unlike having a big cookie.”
The miniature cookies come in three mouth-watering flavors: buttery chocolate chip, tart Key lime pie, and vanilla pecan sprinkled with powdered sugar. The treats are presented in keepsake cookie tins, customized in a selection of colors and patterns, and inscribed with the couple’s names, initials, wedding date or a personal message. While they make great wedding favors, the cookie-filled containers can also be used at rehearsal dinners, engagement parties or as save-the-dates.
Cookies are $6.75 per canister, with a minimum order of 64 canisters.
