After meeting through work in Denver and starting a business together that took them to Baton Rouge, creative couple Emily and Jason chose to begin celebrating their marriage near their families back in Minnesota. Charmed by the historical grandeur of Two South at Northern Pacific Center, Emily had a clear and intentional vision for their fall wedding day. A palette rooted in burgundy with accents of blush and complementary forest green hues set the scene for a moody and romantic affair.
With a bursting bouquet in hand, Emily walked down the aisle in a stunning fitted gown with elegant off-the shoulder sleeves. Floral applique cascaded down the length of her veil, matching the embellishments on her gown for a bridal ensemble that exuded refined whimsicality. Jason's deep forest green suit matched that of the bridal party, with a playful boutonnière tying his look into the florals du jour.
A stained-glass welcome sign, handmade by a friend of the bride and groom, greeted guests to the candlelit reception. The soaring ceilings were accented by strung cafe lights and hanging floral installations to foster a cozy vibe within the grand space. The wedding cake fit the theme perfectly, the veritable work of art was composed of carefully sculpted ruffles and florals. —Ryley S. Hoff
