Luxurious and Industrial Food-Focused Wedding Day Infuses Glamour into The Machine Shop

Adam Berg and Tim Jones brought their Hinge meeting IRL for a first date at Restoration Hardware Rooftop in Edina. Little did they know Restoration Hardware would later become the inspiration behind their one-of-a-kind wedding day at Machine Shop in Minneapolis. Every detail of their grand celebration was intentional down to their shoe choices. Before the big day, the pair treated themselves to a special shopping experience at Christian Louboutin in Las Vegas—patent leather loafers for Adam and patent leather lace-ups for Tim, both accented in matching Swarovski crystals. On the day of their wedding, friends and family gathered from around the country and watched in circular-style ceremony seating as Adam’s and Tim’s respective sisters officiated the ceremony. “It was a moment we will never forget,” they say. They worked with Gretchen Culver of Rocket Science Events to bring luxury vibes to the industrious venue. Large river birch trees served as a natural accoutrement as glam chandeliers bowered above, offering a soft glow for the elite dining experience to come. Taking cues from Michelin-starred restaurants, Culver memorized all 194 guests’ names while servers in restaurant-inspired outfits escorted them to their seats for a five-course meal. But the attention to detail did not stop there; a drag queen handed out custom pull tabs bearing graphics of the pair’s interests, giving guests the chance to win a variety of prizes. From first kiss to last dance, Adam and Tim’s magical day perfectly reflected them as a couple. They advise engaged couples to have fun on their wedding day, “It will come together beautifully in the end and is more enjoyable when you let go and have fun.”
