Bright Blooms and Blue Hues in Wedding at Catalyst at Nature Link

With their relationship beginning in northern Minnesota on the Whitefish Chain, it only made sense for Emily and Jack to wed amid the natural beauty of Nisswa. Catalyst at Nature Link was the perfect venue, combining the bride’s love for contemporary charm with the groom’s affinity for the outdoors.

Drawing inspiration from Emily’s personal style and incorporating cornflower blue into the design, the couple brought to life a timelessly elegant celebration with playful touches. Blue-and-white striped patterns and toile linen details added visual interest among vibrant pops of color and an abundance of unique florals. Meadow-style arrangements lined the aisle, leading to the spot where Emily and Jack exchanged vows, surrounded by towering pine trees, floral pedestals and loved ones.

The decision to share vows during the ceremony was a last-minute addition after the couple privately read them to one another that morning. “Initial nerves aside, we found it to be one of the most calming, special moments of the day, both for us and our guests,” Emily says.

Bright blooms and fun patterns carried into the reception, where tablescapes featured a harmonious mix of flowers, taper candles and, for a fun twist, disposable cameras for guests to capture memories. Newlywed Emily leaned into the white-and-blue design, changing into a chic mini dress to dance the night away with her husband, Jack.
