Want to start your wedding planning on the right track? Check out The Depot’s new expansion of its historic Train Shed, a huge venue that is so stunning it will impress more than just train buffs.

The former station in the Mill District of Minneapolis recently debuted a 20,000-square-foot expansion, which includes the Great Northern Ballroom. Holding up to 600 people, it features 30-foot glass ceilings, tons of natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows and an attached conservatory. It’s both modern and nostalgic. (Who says you can’t please all the people all the time?)

This is in addition to The Depot’s already large and diverse wedding offerings (seriously—it can accommodate 1,000 people, but suits small weddings nicely, too). With 72,500 square feet of event space, there are lots of options to choose from, but the Train Shed expansion is especially picturesque.
