In these frigid Minnesota winter months finding wedding inspiration can seem like a challenge. It's no surprise that spring/summer is the dominant wedding season, what with its bright colors and warm breezes. But don't write winter off just yet! Icy blues and fun fur accessories are just the beginning. This gorgeous styled shoot from Nylon Saddle Photography is a beautiful display of the amazing potential this snowy season has to offer.

From the Photographer:

This was my first styled shoot in what seems like forever. It was also the first shoot to have only used 35mm film. After trying to find inspiration for brides married during Minnesota winters (things like colors, feelings and actual cold images) without much luck, I chose to put together a shoot of my own. I wanted to create something mystical and light in the dead and darkness that is winter. The frozen Mississippi river was chosen as our location even if we had to work in below freezing temperatures. So. Together with a few local wedding professionals, three uniquely fitting models and my 35mm cameras - we made some magic in the frozen woods.
