Recognizing a need for bridal gowns that fit non-sample-size girls, Shayna Clute opened Luxe Bridal Couture in 2010. Brides clearly agreed, and the increased demand for appointments led Luxe to expand their boutique in early 2016 to offer plus-size brides even more selection.

“The expansion has been a great addition to our salon,” Clute says. “It’s solidified our standing as the premier bridal salon catering exclusively to the curvy bride, mother and bridesmaid in the Midwest.”

The extra square footage made room for more dressing rooms, more gowns and a dedicated area for bridal styling, including a vast selection of veils, jewelry, lingerie and shoes.

With so many more options in the plus-sized fashion world, it only made sense that the store make room for more styles. One of the most exciting designers that Luxe now carries is Signature by Justin Alexander Couture, with more leading designers on the way.
