Honeymoon: Spain and Italy
Molly Sands and Seth Rosin met while out with mutual friends at the University of Minnesota, and although the couple now lives in Illinois, they wanted to come back to wed. “We knew we wanted to get married in Minneapolis because it’s where we met and a place we both will always call home,” Molly says. They chose Aria for the venue and loaded it up with whimsical, colorful florals and lots of greenery. Among the highlights of their wedding day were the wonderful music and the special people—especially their mothers—who attended. Other personal touches: including their dog in the festivities and inserting a mention of pizza in their wedding vows. But the most memorable part of the event might have been at the end of the reception. “Our wedding ended with an epic exit that no one expected,” Molly says. “My wedding dress caught fire from the sparklers, and I nearly became ‘Katniss, Girl on Fire’ in seconds.” It was quickly extinguished, however, and the newlyweds were able to go out in a blaze of glory.
