Secret Garden: Lafayette Club Unveils New Ceremony Space on Lake Minnetonka

The Lafayette Club has long been a favorite of Twin Cities’ brides, thanks to its unbeatable views of Lake Minnetonka, but a recently unveiled outdoor ceremony space adds a fabulous new option. Crystal Bay Garden can seat up to 250 guests near the sparkling lake. “So many brides want to be outside and host everything in one location, and adding this space allows us to do that,” says assistant general manager Carrie Martinson.

You don’t need to be a member to host your wedding at Lafayette Club and you can invite guests to stay in one of their 17 guest rooms. Crystal Bay Garden features an elegantly manicured garden filled with rose bushes and pine trees. Brides love making their grand entrance down the winding ballroom staircase, too.

Lafayette Club has all the trappings of a luxurious resort, including the pool, tennis courts and expansive golf course, to make your guests feel like they’re on vacation. “We offer couples a destination without leaving home,” says Martinson.
