Tina & Paul

June 26, 2010 at Pinehaven Farms in Wyoming

There is something to be said about kismet when it comes to Tina Christopherson and Paul Mielke. Their lives were intertwined ever since third grade: Tina’s best friend was neighbors with Paul and would see him at birthday parties. Then throughout grade school and college, they could never get the timing right, until after Tina’s trip to Europe in 2004. They met as old friends at a café and left as a couple.

Four years later, Paul proposed in front of family and friends at Al Vento in Minneapolis. Including all of their family and friends, as well as their dogs Ranger and George, in their wedding was very important to Tina and Paul. They wanted their wedding to stand out, but also be fun and affordable—thus a boot-scootin’ wedding was born! Both the ceremony and reception took place at Pinehaven Farms in Wyoming (the city)—think that was intentional? The ceremony went traditional, while the reception was all hoe-down and barn dancing to a bluegrass band. Yeehaw!
