Stacy & Andrew

May 29, 2011 with a ceremony at Nazareth Chapel at Northwestern College in Roseville and reception at Café & Bar Lurcat in Minneapolis

A shared passion for travel was one of the many common interests that brought Stacy Stirlen and Andrew Scribner together. Their adventures have included a cruise to Alaska and a ski trip on the Continental Divide in Banff. Despite their fondness for far-flung locales, Andy took Stacy absolutely by surprise when he proposed to her in their living room one day after work. The wedding was a truly romantic affair, with candles throughout the church, and piano and violin renditions of beloved Beatles songs. Determined to make the vows as picture-perfect as she’d always imagined, Stacy left behind her reading glasses, even though she knew how much she needed them. Sure enough, on the second line of her vows, she began to stumble. Like a true gentleman and friend, Andy whipped them out of his breast pocket and handed them to his bride, giving everyone a good laugh.
