Sarah & Andrew

Oct. 23, 2010 with a ceremony at The Church of St. Patrick in Edina and reception at the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis

Sarah Frey and Andrew Wilson truly went the distance to make their relationship work. They met as college classmates in North Carolina, and proceeded to build and maintain their relationship throughout a junior year spent abroad in different European countries, followed by summertime and post-grad moves around the United States. They accrued thousands of frequent flier miles and put a combined 30,000 miles on their odometers before finally settling together in Washington, D.C., last year. Andrew proposed to Sarah during a visit to New York, on a picture-perfect autumn day in Central Park. Their Minnesota wedding included a locally themed welcome bag for each out-of-town guest, featuring such favorites as Honeycrisp apples, Pearson’s Nut Goodies, and Old Dutch potato chips. In a unique move suggested by the priest, the guests were invited to encircle the altar during the vows, in order to more intimately witness and support the couple as they said “I do.”
