Pauline & John

July 31, 2010 at the Plummer House in Rochester

Though Pauline Utesch and John Abraham met while working at the Mayo Clinic, it was their shared love for the outdoors that ultimately brought them together. In 2008 an annual trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area took on special meaning when under the romantic starry skies, at their favorite campsite, John proposed. Once engaged, the couple spent months shopping for the perfect engagement ring. Unable to find it, Pauline ultimately designed the ring herself, then worked with a local Rochester jeweler to have it custom made. With their affection for all things outdoors, it’s no surprise they chose an outside setting--the elegant grounds of the Plummer House--for their summer wedding. The home’s lush gardens and beautifully landscaped surroundings provided the perfect background for friends and family to celebrate with the joyful couple.
