Megan & Benjamin

Oct. 17, 2009 at Windows on Minnesota in Minneapolis

High school (and later, college) sweethearts Megan Sieling and Benjamin Rogers have made a lot of friends during their time together. When they got engaged on an Ely camping trip in August 2008, they knew they wanted a big celebration to accommodate all those friends. Megan and Benjamin feel “incredibly honored and proud to have people who have been, and will continue to be, involved in our lives.” Six bridesmaids, six groomsmen, four ushers and almost 300 people made for a gala event. Megan created a monogram for the occasion incorporating the couple’s new initials. Their thoughtful sentiment also influenced their wedding rings, designed with the help of Aurora Jewelers in Eden Prairie. Benjamin had proposed with a diamond solitaire band to ensure that Megan could be truly surprised, but she later customized her own ring. Benjamin kept the original setting with him by having it melted down and made part of his own wedding band.
