Lindsey & Andy

While Lindsey Elbertson was out on a run, training for a half-marathon, Andy Paulson plotted to greet Lindsey at her place with his proposal in place: flowers, champagne, bended knee and ring. Instead, while driving past her (honking), he realized there wasn't enough time to set up, so he pulled over a few blocks in front of her, got out of his car and waited for Lindsey to arrive. There, on some corner of Cleveland Avenue and an unknown cross-street, Andy and Lindsey became engaged, and though Andy likes to tell people that Lindsey kept running, she doesn't remember it that way. For their Calhoun Beach Club reception, the couple paid homage to their alma matter, the University of Minnesota, and all of their Gopher State love. That included hiring the U of M marching band to introduce the bride and groom, surprising guests and setting the energetic tone for the rest of the night—and for the rest of their newly wedded lives together.
