Krista & Nathan

June 26, 2010 at groom's family home in Owatonna

Farm living created the perfect backdrop for Krista Nelson and Nathan Miller’s homegrown wedding. Getting married on the very land Nathan’s family has farmed for generations added even more meaning to the celebration, which included personal touches in crisp shades of green, brown and white throughout. Family and friends all pitched in to create authentic, rustic charm. Guest seating at the ceremony was made of hay bales topped with white fabric-covered planks, and vignettes were created from vintage milk cans, old doors and a vintage bike. Krista’s cousin provided solo acoustic guitar music and the bride’s youth pastor performed the ceremony. Yard games and a sparkler-lit outdoors evening dance completed the made-to-order celebration.
