Kerrie & Ben

Aug. 14, 2010 at The Outing Lodge at Pine Point in Stillwater

Though Kerrie Kennedy and Ben Fawbush attended middle and high school together in Plymouth, the pair never crossed paths until years later, after college. That’s when their social circles mingled, as both were living with childhood friends. While at a Beastie Boys concert, Ben put his sites on Kerrie, telling his friend—and later groomsman—“I am going to go after Kerrie Kennedy.” He did just that. Ben proposed on an idyllic day in Honolulu on Waikiki Beach, after a day of snorkeling and hiking Diamond Head. Less than two years after first becoming a couple, Kerrie and Ben married at The Outing Lodge at Pine Point in Stillwater, which is tucked away off a dirt road and sits next to a lake. The garden ceremony was officiated by one of Kerrie’s childhood friend’s father and was followed by a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing all surrounded by friends and family. (Including Kerrie's sister, who stood as maid of honor at nine months pregnant, and welcomed a baby just three days after the wedding.)
