Kelsey & Jacob

Sept. 26, 2010 at the Washington County Historic Courthouse in Stillwater

Kelsey Ciatti-Miller and Jacob Hanson’s wedding was a chance to celebrate their talents for creating uniquely beautiful environments, something they do both personally and professionally. Besides putting in long hours of crafting, thrifting and DIY, they called in favors from friends and assembled an affair that was at once artistically original and timelessly elegant. A nearby petting-zoo provided a unique backdrop for a pre-wedding photo shoot, plus a little humor when a hungry goat reached over a fence and took an enormous bite out of Kelsey’s bridal bouquet. (Kelsey, a consummate animal lover who regularly stages living-room dance parties with their pets, was unfazed). The pair spent much of the reception on the dance floor, a logical spot for a groom who plays guitar for some of the Twin Cities’ most successful musical acts, including Mason Jennings and Halloween, Alaska.
