Kelly & Spencer

Aug. 13, 2011 at a private residence in Carlton

Both Kelly O'Connor and Spencer Anderson's Duluth-area harbor engagement and front-yard August wedding were a complete labor of love. Spencer went the extra nautical mile with the proposal by hiring a professional photographer to catch the romantic occasion, while the lift bridge's captain even saluted in congratulations to the couple.
When it came to wedding planning, Kelly was all hands on deck and made sure it was a fun day for them, as well as their friends and family members. (An hour prior to the ceremony they played lawn games alongside their guests.) During their Quaker-style ceremony, friends shared stories, read poems and gave their blessings. During the reception they dined on a BBQ dinner accompanied by some North Dakota moonshine made by Kelly's family.
