Katie & Stephen
When Stephen Hann invited fellow Eden Prairie High School student Katie Schuh to complete an extra-credit assignment at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the pair earned more than good grades: They found true love. The couple often returned to the museum, and in December 2007, Katie entered one of the galleries to find an open ring box and Stephen on bended knee. Family and friends gathered in Pax Christi Catholic Community Church to see Katie float down the aisle in a lace-covered Pronovias gown with an intricate scalloped neckline and hem from The Wedding Shoppe. Two heirloom rings were tucked into her all-white bouquet. The church’s former priest, a close family friend, conducted the ceremony. Floor-length espresso brown Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses, also from The Wedding Shoppe, and architectural arrangements by Glenrose Floral continued the event’s sophisticated feel. Excel Limousine whisked the wedding party to a reception at the Edina Country Club, where guests had a blast singing love songs to get the newlyweds to kiss. They also enjoyed an elegant Buttercream cake, stationery by Carlson Craft and a dance by a DJ from Bellagala.
