Joy & Rollin

Oct. 10, 2010 at Rochester Art Center in Rochester

Though Joy Heimgartner and Rollin Dubbs were high school sweethearts over two decades ago, it took reconnecting while working at the Mayo Clinic to realize they should have been married this entire time. The pair celebrated their wedding with afternoon vows and champagne at the Rochester Art Center. Afterwards the bridal party and families noshed on a delicious dinner from Sontes restaurant, which also catered the beverages at the Art Center. The following day everyone gathered for an outdoor get together at Joy’s parent’s farm in the bluffs of southeastern Minnesota on a record hot day in October; temperatures hit 90 degrees–a treat for Joy’s bridesmaids, who both traveled from Alaska.
