Jill & Matt

Winter has treated Jill Ramler and Matt Blazevic pretty well. After dating in high school and going their separate ways for college, winter breaks were a time to reconnect. Matt proposed in February 2009 by building a sign spelling out “Jill, will you marry me?” in letters strung with Christmas lights. (Matt also loves photography and captured the sign in a photo, which they used for their save-the-dates.) So it’s no surprise that the couple chose a winter wedding. The ceremony took place at the chapel at the University of St. Thomas, Jill’s alma mater. The timeless elegance of Christos Union Depot Place in St. Paul provided the perfect backdrop for a grand reception. A neutral palette of ivory and gold with accents of navy and buttery yellow flowers created the stylish warmth Jill was seeking. She braved the winter weather with simple grace, wrapped in her grandmother Evelyn’s vintage mink stole.
