Jennifer & Brandon

Dec. 20, 2008 at The Landmark Center in St. Paul

While many Minnesotans flock south when the snow flies, Florida residents Jennifer Chapin and Brandon Glanz flew north in December 2008 to get married in their native state. They wanted a winter wonderland and they got it, with inches of fresh snow and below-zero wind chills. Joined by 110 family and friends, the couple felt only warmth, however, as they exchanged handwritten vows in St. Paul’s storied Landmark Center. Jennifer sparkled in an elaborate crystal-embedded Mori Lee gown from The Wedding Shoppe. She layered on the elegance with a cathedral-length veil and drop earrings from Regina B. Each of her eight bridesmaids wore a red dress of their choosing, paired with a pashmina wrap from the bride. The couple expressed their passion for Dave Matthews Band by choosing the jovial “Ants Marching,” for their recessional music and the touching “I’ll Back You Up,” for their first dance. Monochromatic bouquets by Molly’s Flower Studio, more than 800 flickering votive candles, stationery by the bride’s brother-in-law and a chocolate-frosted layer cake from Cakes by Jan added memorable touches.
