Jen & Adam

Sept. 18, 2010 at Stonebrooke Golf Course at Shakopee

High school classmates Jen Laursen and Adam Schnaible reconnected years later when they met up at a comedy club with some mutual friends. It was an appropriate setting for the start of a relationship in which humor is a top priority. Adam proposed to Jen at Gooseberry Falls on a chilly autumn day. She was cold and wanted to leave, but luckily he convinced her to stick around long enough to find the perfect moment to pop the question. Their wedding day incorporated elements of the couple’s interests and passions—from jars of the couple’s favorite candy (Swedish Fish and Laffy Taffy) to floral arrangements from the St. Paul Farmers’ Market, where Jen and her mom spend summer Saturdays. The often tardy groom surprised his bride by showing up early at the church, but she managed to sneak out of the car, remaining unseen until her walk down the aisle.
