All is took was one smile—from Emily Welker to Nic Frost, as she was on a walk and he was biking around Lake Calhoun—for this pair to go from strangers to inseparable. Nic proposed two summers later at an oh-so-Minnesotan locale: up north, at Emily's family cabin. For their wedding, the Minnesota Boat Club served as the ideal location, combining city life with an intimate setting. Given the location, it was only fitting for the couple to include a few nautical touches, like the gentlemen's striped navy ties and the ribbon on the bouquets.
