Chelsea & Corey
Chelsea Honebrink and Corey Erickson’s wedding was truly a family affair, with relatives and friends pitching in to make the day as meaningful and memorable as possible. Chelsea’s younger brother built the platform on which the couple said their vows, with wood planed by the bride’s grandfather. Her brother also made the arbor under which they stood, using branches gathered from the land around Chelsea’s childhood home. The couple’s mothers were indispensable, lovingly handcrafting everything from the table numbers to the flower girl dresses. Memories of family members who had passed on were woven throughout the event, from a handkerchief embroidered by Chelsey’s great-great-grandmother to the photos taken in front of the treehouse built by her beloved grandfather. Even the dog knew something special was going on, making an unplanned but much appreciated appearance in front of the camera.
