Amanda & David

Aug. 27, 2011 with a ceremony at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church and reception at Calhoun Beach Club in Minneapolis

Amanda Peterson and David Schneider have been friends since they were 10 years old, always laughing together and looking out for one another. That they would someday tie the knot seemed to be penned into their story from page one. Because Amanda works for Minnesota Bride, she’d been planning her wedding on a daily basis, bookmarking her preferred vendors and taking mental notes for the day she herself would walk down the aisle. The resulting event was truly classic, elegant and formal. The bride wore a flowing, tulle-layered dress; the groom was dashing in a jet-black tux. After they said their vows, a 1951 white Bentley drove the couple from the ceremony around the Minneapolis lakes, all on a sunny summer’s afternoon. At the reception, white lace and linens amid crystal and candlelight set the scene as toasts were delivered from family and friends. The couple’s big day unfolded like a fairytale—the kind that every little girl dreams of.
