This sweet, s'more-themed styled shoot was a surprise from a newlywed bride to her husband. The two eloped last summer and wanted a set of images to celebrate their love for one another. What's more, the couple will be moving half-way across the world soon on assignment with the Army, so it was a very special opportunity to capture some romantic moments in the Minnesota snow. This shoot is absolutely gorgeous, full of beautiful wedding inspiration - and the story behind it is even lovlier!

From the photographer:

S'mores, snow and a loving relationship were the three wonderful things that made up Olya and Oleksii's photo session. When Olya approached us about planning a surprise session for Oleksii, we knew we wanted to do something special for these two. We photographed their elopement last summer and have stayed in touch with them ever since then and knew that they would soon be relocated to Germany by the army.Olya dreamed of a snowy, winter photoshoot – but there was no snow to be seen. This is when we came up with the idea to put together a special styled shoot.

We didn't have much time to photograph since Oleksii was supposed to be home only for a short period of time for Christmas, but all the vendors were simply amazing, helping us on a very short notice. Then, to our surprise, it snowed two days before the session! While we were photographing, they were so cuddly and in love, just like the day we photographed them on their wedding day. Olya and Oleksii told us that we gave them a fairy tale. They are moving within a month, and although we don't know when we will see them next, we are happy to give them these memories for years to come! Thank you Olya and Oleksii, we wish you nothing but happiness half way across the world.
