Sweet Martha's, deep-fried [insert literally anything you would like to eat here], Sky Glide, corn on the cob, princesses carved out of butter - I don't even know where to begin with my love of the Minnesota State Fair (and with this year's attendence romored to have topped 2 million, I think it's safe to say everyone in the state agrees!). When I saw Sarah and Scott's engagement shoot captured by Lauren Kirkbride Photography at the Great Minnesota Get Together I couldn't look away, loving each photo more than the last! This couple has killer style and are so clearly deeply in love - with the colorful, nostalgic and downright magical backdrop of the fair, these images will surely be treasured forever!

Sarah and Scott first brought the idea of going to the State Fair for their engagement photos back in February, and I died and went to photographer heaven-knowing instantly it would be an amazing shoot. The two love going to fair, walking around, eating food, the works-and Scott had initially planned on proposing there last year, but the ring wasn't ready in time...so it only made sense to capture them together there for their engagement photos! It couldn't have been more perfect. Sarah and Scott's style was so stunning, and made them pop in the heavy crowds of opening day. We ventured around to their favorite spots-corn, Sweet Martha's, beer flights, and took a ride on the Sky Glide for a few final photos. I couldn't imagine a better setting for these two, and so fun to capture their love in such a sweet place.
