Max's Semi-Annual Sale

Max’s at The Shops at Excelsior & Grand will host its popular summer Semi-Annual Sale June 25-July 14 with discounts of 30 to 80 percent off a wide array of select items from its fine jewelry, gourmet chocolate and home décor collections. The event takes place during regular business hours: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Max’s Semi-Annual Sales offer shoppers deep discounts on a large assortment of select items from the shop’s current collections, and allows shop owner Ellen Hertz the opportunity to make room for the stunning new collections she continually brings into the shop. Just back from the annual COUTURE Las Vegas jewelry industry show, she’ll soon be introducing many new pieces from the shop’s current roster of designers, and collections from several new artists including Danish designer Lene Vibe and Margery Hirschey, a former couturier dressmaker and recipient of the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award for Fine Jewelry. The newly arrived jewelry isn’t included in the sale.

Ellen opened Max’s at The Shops at Excelsior & Grand in May 2006, inspired in great part by her grandfather Max who had owned a fine jewelry store in her native Detroit for 54 years. The award-winning boutique is renowned for its collections of fine artisan jewelry, gourmet chocolates and home décor items handcrafted by some of the world’s most innovative and respected artists. Ellen’s mission is to offer artists’ work that her customers won’t find elsewhere in the Twin Cities and she continually seeks those who are creating innovative work, handmade in-studio and not created overseas for mass production. The jewelry collections are available at a variety of price points, from little luxuries to major statement pieces. Ellen is also deeply committed to giving back, and supports numerous charities throughout the year through direct donations from the sale of certain items in the shop’s collections, as well as through other giving programs.

Max’s is an award-winning boutique renowned for its collections of fine artisan jewelry from more than 50 designers, gourmet chocolates from over 30 global chocolatiers, and home décor items from more than a dozen artists. The jewelry collections range from everyday pieces to wedding jewelry for women and men, in styles ranging from classic and time-honored to bold and alternative.
