Kaelynn & Tanner

Sept. 10, 2011 with a ceremony at Emmanual Lutheran Church in Somerset and reception at the Embassy Suites in Bloomington

When Tanner Steinlicht proposed to Kaelynn Breen, a pale moon was shining down on a frozen lake in Willow River State Park. The couple was on a candlelit hike over Valentine’s Day weekend, and Tanner couldn’t have staged a more romantic moment to pop the question. Kaelynn said yes (of course), and the two began planning a vintage-style wedding that brimmed with the same energy as that winter-night proposal. The ceremony was held in a country church that Kaelynn adored for its worn wooden double doors and antique stained glass windows. After the bride and groom said their “I do’s,” everyone spilled onto the lawn, where lemonade and cookies awaited, served on a wooden stand that Tanner and the bride’s father built. The rest of the day unfolded like a heartwarming romantic comedy, complete with the groom dramatically dipping his bride on the dance floor at the end of the night.
