Intern for Minnesota Bride

Do you aspire to work at a high-end magazine? If so, several times a year Tiger Oak Media looks for an editorial intern to help out with Minnesota Bride magazine. Interns will work alongside experienced editors, writers and designers, assisting with fact-checking, photo shoots, proofreading and writing for the magazines and websites.

Our downtown office is casual and fun—a great place to gain solid magazine experience, add clips to your portfolio, and a reference for future employment. As a part-time intern, you're welcome to work alongside us in our office. Candidates should have an interest in fashion and the bridal industry. Good phone skills and organization are a plus. A stipend is offered at the end of the internship.

To apply for a print internship, please send a cover letter, resume and three writing samples to Editor Sarah Baumann Rogers at sarah.rogers@tigeroak.com. No phone calls, please.

To apply for a design internship, please send a resume, three design samples or your web portfolio link to Senior Art Director Janet McLaughlin at janet.mclaughlin@tigeroak.com.

Interested in a remote digital internship? Work closely with the Brides digital editor to gain hands-on experience in maintaining the web presence of Tiger Oak Media’s 5 bridal websites (Minnesota Bride, Wisconsin Bride, Seattle Bride, Oregon Bride, and California Wedding Day). This is a fast-paced, fun internship that requires organization, good verbal communication skills, love of the written word and a sincere interest in learning the basic tools of the web, including content management systems, working and researching on the Internet, blogging, SEO and social media.
